Hespa Masseto of Africaner (Masseto) went to Crufts 23 and Won a large Mid Limit class, Under Judge Toni Agnew.
Beniclujam Aumba Breeze of Africaner (Sienna) also went to Crufts and was given 3rd in a very large Limit Class.

Fantastic day for the kennel ar Three Counties Champ Show held on the 10th June 22. Where Hespa Masetto of Africaner wqent Best Dog In Breed and won his first CC. At just 1 year old. He went on to win 1st in Junior Stakes also. Benicloujam Aumba Breeze of Africaner(Sienna) Won1st place in Limit and 2nd place in KC Good Citizens Stakes Class.

Great day out at Cruft 22 with Benicloujam Aumba Breeze of Africaner (Sienna) winning 1st Palce in Mid Limit class and Hespa Masetto of Africaner (Masetto) winning 2nd place in Puppy Dog.

Hespa Masetto of Africaner atteneded the Gateshead and District Open show on the 6th of March 22 and he was placed 1st in Open and Best Puppy in Breed also Best of Breed by Judge Mrs P Steele. He went on to also win Hound group 4 and Hound Puppy group 2.

Sienna had another great day out at the Cleveland Open Dog Show by winning her Open class then Best of Breed and then Hound Group 1. While Masetto gained Best Puppy In Breed and Hound Puppy Group 2.

It is with a sad heart that our beautiful old boy Hamish (CH Hespa Highlander of Africaner) passed away on the 13th of November 2014 aged 16 years and 1 month old. He passed away quietly with his family at home. He will be very much missed by all who knew him.

CH Hespa Highlander of Africaner celebrated his 16th birthday on the 15th of October 2014. We believe he is the oldest Champion Ridgeback alive today and one of the longest living pedigree Ridgebacks of all time. He is the great great Grandfather of Tor our current Champion show dog. He is still active and full of life, long may it continue.

Hamish celebrating his 16th Birthday on 15th October 2014.
At the grand old age of 14 Hamish is now retired from showing and enjoys a quiet homelife surrounded by his family. Hamish had a very good show career and won a first at Crufts and became a Champion show dog at the age of 2 1/2. Hamish was bred by Gillian Craven of the Hespa kennel and was oneof the first show dog's from his Dutch imported father CH Vizara Shemesh of Shabani. Hamish also participated in obedience and agility training, which he really enjoyed.
